RRS Studio 1
Studio 1 marks the physical and symbolic origin of Riccardo Rami Studio. A place conceived first through vision and then through matter, where work, experimentation and material thinking take precedence over representation.
Prato - Tuscany, Italy
1994
Workspace / Creative Laboratory
Housed in a former industrial space, Studio 1 was shaped by use rather than by a predefined design intent. Furniture on wheels, wired systems conceived before Wi-Fi, and light designed to accompany the creative act defined a flexible and evolving environment. Interventions remained minimal, materials honest, and the layout open to continuous transformation through projects, samples, archives and prototypes.
Over time, Studio 1 became both workplace and living archive: a stratified environment where past experiments, present work and ongoing research coexist in a single continuum. From here, everything began, channeling the energy of imagination into form.

Studio 1 is not an office.
It is a working manifesto shaped by practice.
